An educational and training centre
The CARITAS Educational and Training Centre is an integral part of CARITAS - College of Social Work Olomouc, offering further education and training in particular for professionals working in the sphere of social services but also for volunteers and those interested from the professional public. Through its educational activities the centre helps to improve the quality of social services in the Czech Republic.
These activities include a wide range of courses and seminars: one-day seminars, several day courses and training programmes, as well as long-term educational programmes including organising study visits abroad. Our college has also become renowned in this area of its activities. It is a general partner of the Regional Authority of the Olomouc Region as well as with major employers in the field. In the recent past, it has educated several thousand social workers and workers in social services as a part of various projects and public contracts.
