Undergraduate (Bachelor) study programme

CARITAS College of Social Work Olomouc is exceptional thanks to its cooperation with the Sts Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology at Palacký University (CMFT UP).

The major effect of this cooperation is a joint accreditation of the courses of study.

In brief, both programmes offered by CARITAS College of Social Work Olomouc may be simultaneously studied at the Sts Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology as undergraduate study programmes.

This opens the path to the graduate study programmes in the university sector.

The simultaneous studies at the CMFT UP and CARITAS College of Social Work take three years.

It is provided exclusively to students of CARITAS College of Social Work who wish to receive university education in an undergraduate study programme.

Thus, the student of CARITAS College of Social Work may but does not have to study at the CMFT UP.

However, the jointly accredited courses cannot be taken separately at CMFT UP.

If a student wishes to take the undergraduate study programme, he/she should be a student of CARITAS College of Social Work and should enrol on the CMFT UP courses of study as well.

Based on the joint admission proceedings, he/she may be admitted to study at both schools simultaneously.

In practice, this admission implies that the education is intertwined and is provided partially in the classrooms of CARITAS College of Social Work Olomouc and partially on the premises of the CMFT UP, the student has two credit books (credits are inscribed in two books), etc. Accordingly, rules and instructions of both schools must be followed and adhered to.

Upon successful completion of both courses, graduates are awarded the degrees of DiS. (licensed specialist) and Bc. (Bachelor).
